‘LIFE AFTER GHOSTS OF THE GUADALUPES’

Join SENM Historical Society on Monday, May 6th, 7:00 PM at Carlsbad Museum for a presentation by author Dr. Jerry R. Cox. The final meeting of our 2023/2024 season will feature a much anticipated wishlist guest. Our very special guest is former scientist, university administrator, teacher and author Dr. Jerry R. Cox. Jerry is the author of one of the most important works of Southeastern New Mexico history ever published, Ghosts Of The Guadalupes, and will be presenting to our society on the heels of his recently finished historical fiction trilogy, Dos Putas. The event is FREE to the public and refreshments, coffee, and tea will be provided! All Are Welcome. Bring Your Friends!

Founded in 1970, SENMHS seeks to foster the education and appreciation of Southeastern New Mexico through our photo archives, collections, and stewardship efforts.

Pending a permanent public facility for our collections, we are accepting new collections and artifacts on a limited and cautious basis. We work directly with our Board Members and Carlsbad Museum for all donation inquiries.

The SENMHS endeavors to collect and publish historical photos and documents that pertain to the history of Southeastern New Mexico.
